Subprime pat buchanan, The More Things Change…

…the more the bullshit from the right wing of the MSM stays the same. Having morgaged our economy to the hilt, the idiot right wing continues to spew the same old bullshit, even in the face of what a failure the neo-con-artist agenda has been! Here’s my bit on a little missive from pat “run to the sound of the gunfire” buchanan:

Read it all if you must, it’s titled Subprime Superpower.

I’ll be quoting it in the rest of this post. It’ll be in red, like the ink the bush crime family and the two parties of the apocalypse have been writing our federal budget in.

In a nutshell, buchanan seems to believe that his colleagues in the MSM have been too quick to place blame when the right wing shit hits the fan. He starts with the bridge over the Mississippi river that collapsed.

He whines that (in the good old days) this would have “been taken in stride.” He chalks it up to “an act of god.” He goes on about how poor dear bush and his butt buddy brownie got blamed for katrina. WHAT A LOAD OF SHIT! But then, since he is nothing more then an apologist for the bush crime family, he goes way beyond making any sense at all. He says:

“We are now told there are 70,000 bridges in this country that are “structurally deficient,” whatever that means, since collapsing bridges are a rarity. One recalls the crumpling of a slab of the Bay Bridge in San Francisco a few years back, but few others. Yet, a clamor has arisen for hundreds of billions of tax dollars to repair our crumbling infrastructure of roads, sewers, bridges and electrical grids.”

Gee pat, is it too much to ask that we make damn sure that our infrastructure doesn’t fall down and kill some of us? It seems to me that “structurally deficient” means that the bridges are falling apart and may fall down. Sorry if a fancy engineering phrase like “structurally deficient” confuses you. As to the “hundreds of billions of tax dollars to repair our crumbling infrastructure.” Where the hell were you when your buddy g’dubya started spending that much to kill people and blow things up? There was no talk of how much money it was gonna cost to fight this failure of a war you are still all for fighting, was there? Then of course we get the usual right wing bullshit whenever there is talk of any spending other then MILITARY SPENDING:

“Fine, but where are we going to get the money?”

The chart above is old. It shows only $161 billion in spending for the failed war. The idiots in washingtoon have now spent $500 billion on that disaster, and will be spending EVEN MORE IN THE FY2008 budget. You can learn more about the above chart HERE

I’ll tell ya where we’re gonna get the money pat. We’re gonna cut the bloated military budget, that’s damn well where! Here are your buddies in the bush crime family:

Free spender in chief (on the military)

Vice free spender in chief (on the military)

These two idiots, your butt buddies in the repub party, have made the dems look frugal. They have been spending our tax dollars like there’s no fucking tomorrow. Most of that money has been spent on this:

And this:

I can see why you think the above is a far more sensible expenditure of our resources, then spending the money to make sure bridges don’t fall down would be. After all, if a bridge falls down, idiots like like you can go on and blame god as in “an act of god.” Then insist in the same breath that it should have “been taken in stride.”

Why are we gonna have to cut the bloated military budget? You answered that question yourself:

“Whom are we kidding?

U.S. foreign policy is bankrupt. We can’t cover our commitments with the ground forces we have. And a world watching America thrash about in Mesopotamia is beginning to recognize it and act upon it.”

That’s right, your two loony friends in the white house, with the help of BOTH the dems and repubs in the house and senate. Have screwed up this nations foreign policy but good! This was NOT AN “act of god.” This was a failed set of policy decisions that were made at the highest level of government!

You have been all for this bloody war from the start. You and the rest of the over paid and under worked “journalists” in the MSM. Far from being ready to blame, you have not done your job concerning this failure of a war. Had you bunch in the press done your job back in 2003 we wouldn’t be in the mess we’re in now! You ate up the bush crime families three biggest lies:

You were nowhere to be seen and heard concerning this credit card paid, gambling casino of an economy the corporateers have been running since ronny raygun infested the oval office. You never said a damn thing about what a disaster their economic games were gonna bring down on the rest of us!

Had you useless fools in the “press” looked into the lies the bush crime family used to take us to war, YOU could have PREVENTED IT! Instead you rolled over and played dead, just like the rest of the “press.”

The same goes for the economic excesses that are causing all this strife. You never said a word about it! You bunch should all be fired. You should all be replaced with tenth grade school kids. Even high school students could do a better job then you bunch have done.

How dare you come rolling in with this piece of shit you call an article after the fact? Then you try to pull a real fast one at the end:

“We do not have the forces to fight and win our wars, or defend present allies. We do not collect enough in taxes to fund the coming deficits in Medicare and Social Security. High-wage jobs, technology and factories are pouring out of America into China. We hail the Global Economy, as they toast a Chinese economy that is growing at 12 percent, six times the rate of the U.S. economy in the first half of 2007.”

This was done BY YOUR REPUB BUTT BUDDIES! How dare you try to balance this FAILURE on the backs of the rest of us! Fuck you for your final words:

“A day of reckoning for the boomers will arrive in the first term of the new president.”

The day of reckoning has come for you useless shits in the MSM. The day of reckoning has come for the repub and dem two parties of the apocalypse. THE DAY OF RECKONING HAS COME FOR THE COMPLETE FAILURE OF THE RIGHT WING AGENDA. I hope YOU WILL ALL remember the bullshit agenda the right wing has been spewing since ronnie raygun was prez:

Taxes are BAD

War is GOOD

Tax cuts for the pig rich are GOOD

Spending on real human needs is BAD

Low wages are GOOD

Out of control MILITARY SPENDING is very GOOD

This is not a sensible way to run our country. Anyone that still believes the right wing agenda will do us any good is an idiot! We need cut the military budget and instead spend our tax dollars on real human needs!

Hey pat, be a good little spud and get yourself a nice job as copy boy over at fox snooze…

The telepathic crickets and I hope the rest of YOU are as tired of this right wing bullshit as we are!

  1. Yay, war!

    It’s the Republican’t way.

  2. Ronnie Raygun defintely got the ball rolling. Anyone remember lassiez faire economics.
Clapso you have, once again, shown in shocking detail the process of dismantling a superpower.
The chinese, er, global economic casino is just the beginning. New rules are being established as we speak. Look at the anitfreeze in toothpaste. The supposed safety issues with chinese products.Anything to disrupt the growth. we do not play by the rules even if we make them up. I am so saddened by the version of america that has been sold to the rest of the world. people are starting to pity the American people for being led by killers and con men.
Foreign nationals that come here to kill us actually fall in love or end up simply pitying us, they nget their meducation and go back home, soon the best Universities will be in India or China(40years).
Karl Rove is leaving just in time. The upcoming economic collapse will expose our intellectual weaknesses.
Creativity, technology, art can save us.
We simply need to stop letting the inmates run the asylum.

  3. I do love a righteous rant ! You are definitely becoming a voice – even if it does seem like ‘crying in the wilderness’.

  4. “That anyone who possesses power has a tendency to abuse it is an eternal truth.
They tend to go as far as the barriers will allow.”

“Naturally, the common people don’t want war……., but after all it is the
leaders of a country who determine the policy, and its always a simple
matter to drag the people along whether its a democracy, or a fascist
dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship…… voice or no
voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders.
That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked,
and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the
country to danger. It works the same in every country.”
    ~ Hermann Goering ~

  5. Ah PAT, brings back memories. I picketed him when he showed up at USF in Tampa. That was back when Pat was raging against the Mexicans ruining our economy. My sign said it’s not the Mexicans Pat, it’s capitalism. I predict Pat and his kind will be calling for a return to the draft to feed the war’s voracious appetite for young lives. Oh and BTW–take the bridge collapse “in stride?” IN STRIDE? A busload of children came damn close to tumbling over that bridge. You think Cindy Sheehan’s a pain in the ass? You ain’t seen nothin yet–Better choose your words more carefully, Pat. I got a granddaughter who’s not yet school age and yer god won’t save your sorry asses if some crumbling bridge threatens the safety of my angel. Your heaven won’t be high enough for you to escape my wrath. A collapsing bridge taking innocent lives is NO ACT OF GOD! It is the result of human negligence and I hope the lawyers sue those responsible right into bankruptcy.

  6. Thanks for your comments. As always the people who comment here really know what’s up!

  8. Pat is right and was right from the beginning.
