Not that I really care that much, since the one true great presidential candidate, Nader, has already picked his running mate! Anyway, here are my suggested picks for mcPain and nobama:

dan quayle: He should have “grown into the job” by now.
bob barr: Just so he’ll stop whining about how the repubs “abandoned him.”

blew dog: Since nobama is in bed with them, he might as well make one his veep
hillary dillary doo: Nah, that’s too gruesome even for ME!

Nader will have to figure out how to get elected into office before he may choose a vp…It is always easy to ridicule from the sidelines, not so easy once you are on the inside and have to do a job. I wanted to thank you for calling me “an apologist” for Mr. Obama since apparenty you labeled Arianna Huffington with the same badge of honor. I am proud to be in such company…By the way I would think a Nader supporter would welcome “freedom of speech” and be able to seriously address the issues while allowing different views to be heard. Calling people who do not agree with you “fools” does not seem like an invitation to share other views…

When you are ready to address the issues instead of offering up the canned excuses for nobama that his campaign and such as huffington give on to you from on high. Then you will be less the fool.
Here are some issues:
nobama and mcPain have REPEATEDLY voted to continue to fund the disaster of a war AND INCREASE THE MILITARY BUDGET. Nader will withdraw our young people in uniform six months after he is elected and reduce the out of control military budget.
nobama and mcpain are AGAINST single payer national health care. Nader will make it happen!
nobama and mcPain are AGAINST raising the minimum wage to $10 an hour. Nader will make that happen.
nobama and mcPain are unwilling to hold the bush crime family accountable for their crimes. Nader has been screaming impeachment for YEARS!
When you can differentiate between an ISSUE and an EXCUSE, then you’ll have something to add to the debate. Until then you sound like a foolish apologist…

That is just my point, Nader is on the “sidelines”. In order to govern one must get inside. I already explained in past replies why Mr. Obama supported the latest military budgets, it is about the PEOPLE serving in the military. I abhor war but as a parent if I had a child in the military I would want to know that he/she has the best protection while on duty. Mr. Obama has been to Walter Reed and seen the injuries, of course he would want to protect our troops. What is Mr. Nader’s solution in regards to military budgets until we are able to pull out? He does not have to worry about those issues because he IS NOT IN GOVERNMENT. In case you do not know this it takes having funds in the “MILITARY BUDGET” even to pull out. Increasing the military budget is not the issue, it is how those funds are spent that we should worry about.

I HAVE A SON IN THE US MILITARY! He has already done one tour over there and I want him to do NO MORE! I want a COMPLETE WITHDRAWAL OF ALL US TROOPS AND I MEAN NOW!

What the increased military budget has been spent on is not the troops, but increased PROFITS FOR THE corpoRATe arms dealers! Many returning vets are not getting the medical and other support they need!

As I keep telling you, that idiot nobama HAS VOTED REPEATEDLY TO CONTINUE FUNDING THE DISASTER OF A WAR. He and his party should have ended this war in early 2007. They didn’t and if nobama wins in November, they won’t end it in 2009 when he takes office!

I am the most anti-war person you will ever know. I detest violence of any kind. You seem to think that there is no difference between McCain and Obama on this issue, however there is a huge difference.
Do you believe that if Gore had been in the Whitehouse for over 7 years he would not have taken this country in a different direction?
If McCain gets into office then God help us all. I do not think this country or the world for that matter can take anymore of this.
In regards to the military budget it would be nice if there was a way to separate ,”earmark” funds for the troops needs however that is not how it works.
As bile as it is, yes this is a war of profit for Corporations. The Republicans (in this administration) stand for corporate power and greed.
Mr. Obama talks about the “urgency of now”, he knows what is at stake. He needs to get elected first, to get elected he needs to get the votes, to get the votes he has to engage in politics pure and simple.

In fact the dirty dems have done separate “earmarks” for social spending AND at the same time tied it to war funding. You just haven’t been watching is all. They have done that again and again so dem congressman like the dirty dem blue dog here in my congressional district can vote for the social spending and against the war spending. The dems know the repubs will vote the war spending through.

Every president in my 50 year lifetime has sent the US military somewhere to kill people over there. It’s time to put a stop to that. Nader is the way to end these military adventures.
Since you are SO SUPPORTIVE of us poor military families. You being about the same age as me, I’m sure one or both of YOUR kids is of military age. If you want to support us, I suggest you become one of us by convincing one of YOUR KIDS to join the military.
