nobama went A’slumin’

DAGNABIT! As a poor person, and I mean BROKE. As a person who has suffered homelessness and hunger, and I mean starving in the street! It makes me sick how every presidential election year a bunch of VERY RICH corpoRATeers try to con us that their celebdidate “understands the problem of poverty”. I have been hearing this utter bullshit since the 1960’s. The candidates themselves often play the Lincoln card. They were born in a log cabin with a dirt floor and no running water. BULLSHIT! Here is nobama’s version of the Lincoln card, this from the new york times:

Obama’s Organizing Years, Guiding Others and Finding Himself

Published: July 7, 2008

CHICAGO — The year was 1985 and Gerald Kellman, a community organizer, was interviewing an applicant named Barack Obama to work in the demoralized landscape of poor neighborhoods on this city’s South Side. He liked the young man’s intelligence, motivation and acutely personal understanding of how it felt to be an outsider. He also remembers that Mr. Obama drove a hard bargain. “He challenged me on whether we could teach him anything,” Mr. Kellman recalled. “He wanted to know things like ‘How are you going to train me?’ and ‘What am I going to learn?’ ” Mr. Obama’s three-year stretch as a grass-roots organizer has figured prominently, if not profoundly, in his own narrative of his life. Campaigning in Iowa, Mr. Obama called it “the best education I ever had, better than anything I got at Harvard Law School,” an education that he said was “seared into my brain.” He devoted about one-third of the 442 pages in his memoir, “Dreams From My Father,” to chronicling that Chicago organizing period. In recent days, Mr. Obama has imbued those years with even greater significance, invoking them last week as inspiration for his plan to deliver social services through religious organizations. He told a conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church on Saturday that as a community organizer he “let Jesus Christ into my life” and “I dedicated myself to discovering his truth and carrying out his works.” It is clear that the benefit of those years to Mr. Obama dwarfs what he accomplished. Mr. Kellman said that Mr. Obama had built the organization’s following among needy residents and black ministers, but “on issues, we made very little progress, nothing that would change poverty on the South Side of Chicago.” —clip—

WTF!? With all this GREAT WORK (for 3 slumin’ years) that nobama did. Why is this the present reality on the ground on the south side over a decade later? SONOFABUSH!

Chicago Ban May Test Ruling

Challenges Follow Justices’ Decision on D.C. Gun-Control Law

Washington Post Staff Writers Sunday, July 6, 2008; Page A02 CHICAGO — One small reflection of Chicago’s bloody year is a sign outside a South Side school that says, “Congratulations Class of 2008. Stop the Violence.” The school is not a college or a high school, but Carnegie Elementary in Woodlawn. In a city where homicide rates have risen by 13 percent over the same period last year and 26 students were killed by gunfire in the past school year, Mayor Richard M. Daley (D) thinks the Supreme Court majority that overturned the District’s gun ban last month is detached from urban reality. “If they think that’s the answer, then they’re greatly mistaken,” Daley protested after hearing that Chicago’s 26-year-old gun law is at risk. “Then why don’t we do away with the court system and go back to the Old West? You have a gun and I have a gun, and we’ll settle in the streets.”

IT’S THE ECONOMY STUPID! As the economy crashes from the drag of the disaster of a war and the thieving of the pig corpoRATeer rich, the poor become stressed out and violence ensues. There is no way to fix the rising crime rate without fixing the broken economy! I know what’s going on. I live in the hood! There is only one way to fix the economy:

The co-joined twins of the apocalypse known as mcbama SUPPORT INCREASING THE MILITARY BUDGET!

Nader want’s the minimum wage raised to $10 an hour. Neither the dem or repub celebdidate support such a fair wage.

Nader will give us single payer national health care. Neither the dem or repub celebdidate support such a sensible, cost cutting plan that will insure everyone.

Lets compare nobama’s 3 years of “organizing” to Nader’s OVER FIVE DECADES of organizing. Let’s look at Nader’s plan to raise the minimum wage to $10 an hour, a plan nobama and mcPain are AGAINST! Go to Nader’s website and look for yourself! Support and vote for the only candidate for president who will REALLY help poor people like us!

The Telepathic Crickets™ on the ClapSotronics editorial board and I are tired of hearing about how the dirty dems and filthy repubs feel poor peoples pain! We hear this every election and after the election, the two parties of the apocalypse DO NOTHING FOR US!

The scientifically impossible I do right away

The spiritually miraculous takes a bit longer
